Spending 11 years in Canossa have educated me a lot. Ang batch namin ang 1st batch na may mga boys!!!! YES!!! COED na rin ang highschool. For me, wala gaano changes kasi I graduated elementary at the same school.
I come to get new friends. Every school year is a new set of classmates. Sobra daming experiences; my ups and downs, the laughters and tears, plus the excitements. Quizzes…. Monthly and Quarterly Exams…. Card Giving… Feast Days… Recollection / Retreat….. Recognitions…. Every thing wrap into one…
Finally, its graduation day! Kailangan pagpaalam pangsamantala sa mga kaibaigan para ipagpatuloy ang pag-aaral. At first syempre excited ako pero habang papalapit na ang araw nakakalungkot at nakakatakot pero kailangan harapin ang bagong pahina sa aking buhay.
I studied BS Accountancy at St. Paul College of Manila. Nice to see there are some of my highschool batchmates : Karen Estrallado, Nina Ocampo, Tricia Azcarate & Carmela Aquino, kung may nakalimutan ako pasensiya na.. Sori medyo may memory gap na yata ako. Not too many adjustment kaya lang sobrang home sick ako. I stayed in the dormitory inside the school campus kaya ayon minsan-minsan nakaktakas din going to Robinsons-Malate and Harisson Plaza… I finished the course 1995. I took the CPA board exam and I failed.
At first, I’m so sad and upset but a friend of mine guided me all through out. Thanks to Sr. Lydia Pablo, fdcc (remember her??? Just to recall she substitute Mrs. Buenviaje, who is on maternity leave) who stood beside me during those days of adversity but of course with my family. When Sr. Lydia leaves Canossa-San Pablo and was transfer to Paco Manila we became good friends…. It’s a long…. Long story….
My first job…. Naku! Terrible !!! I was hired as a Bank Teller at Monte de Piedad Saving Bank in San Pablo. 6 months lang ako kasi talagang hindi ko kayang maging teller, thanks God for that period of time hindi ako na short. Ayaw ko na!!!!! Sobra ang laki ng responsibility. Kaya sa mga batchmates na nag-work sa Bank… SALUDO ako sa inyo!!!! After my bank experience, I was hired as an accountant at SHARP Phils. Corp. for 4 years. After that, I worked for a year as Sales Specialist at Murata Electronics.
Finally now, I’m currently working at Universal Robina Corporation, under Credit & Collection Department, for 5 years. Fortunately, Sobrang happy ako dahil for the past one year dito ako na-assigned sa Calamba, Laguna…. Madami trabaho….. reports…. Meetings pero ang mas masaya nakaka-uwi ako sa amin (San Pablo) araw-araw.
Still single and enjoying LIFE!!!! This is the heart of life enjoying the things I do. For the past… I aspired to enter nunnery but as I go on the journey of my life I find myself more worthy in the outside world… At some point of my extra time I do digiscrap booking.
